the lamest thing on GH right now is that Emily is lying to her everyone (with the exception of her Mom and Dad) about the fact she has cancer. She’s letting everyone believe she’s using drugs again, and that she’s in and out of rehab. Ok. It has GOT the be the WORST thing on right now, and there is some CRAPPY stuff going on. But what I was pondering was.....

how do soap actors deal when their story lines are so stupid? Where do they get their motivation from; when OBVIOUSLY the story line is inane and mind numbingly stupid. how do they act with a straight face?

I am a geek.  To quote Chris Pirillo “I’m a geek, not a nerd” (I *heart* that sound file!) I just said something to my hubby yesterday about spending all day doing geeky things, IE coding my websites ALL DAY and never leaving my pj’s. I watch tech tv, I even watch g4tv (24 network about video games).  I was over joyed when I figured out how to fix my MT (let me know if you wanna know how) and when I learned how to make the css on my archive blog do what I wanted it to. I dreamed about what I wanted to do to my archive blog - it’s layout actually came to me in a dream! I spent an entire Saturday making my new blog cooler than my old blog. ::cheesy::  Which is funny because I thought my old blog was pertty speecial.

I am SO a geek. I revel in my geekyness.  I am a Geek Goddess!

I’ve spent all morning working on oldstuph, which is a complete archive of writing for 9 months of time, with nearly an entry a day, sometimes more. I moved all my old entries there, so that this blog could start fresh. It is searchable, too.  I’ve had fun playing with the layout of it.  I want to make it so that each div has the matching link attributes, and that each corresponding section matches. Like all the individual entries are lime green, and so forth.  I just can’t work on it anymore. It’s making me nuts. I’ve been coding over there for about 3 hours.  Course I spent 8 hours yesterday coding on this site.  I just can’t tear myself away.

I’ve added in the skins again.  Some changes though. I am not using any of the old skins.  I have three skins currently.  The default (purple apple), the old red cherries default, and a totally new green apple skin.

update : 10:37 pm. I’ve added a 4th and 5th skin.  Yellow rose and crazy tulips.  I am sort of going for a theme here.  Can you tell?

I got a comment today, annoymous of course, saying that they wanted picture of me.  So here it is. Aren’t I the cutest thing?  This picture was taken by my husband about 2 or three weeks ago. We were trying to get the color of my hair, but we didn’t quite get it right.  Basically I love this picture because my eyes look pretty, and my skin clear.  Some days I am just really in love with myself.  ::laugh::

I am so glad that I was able to fix my MT. I’ve spent most of the morning re-doing my friends Kris, Cherry, and Ivy’s websites.  I have decided not to have a group blog anymore. We don’t need it really, and it was just taking up space.
