{image lost} One year for Halloween The Mr Q&0153; was death and I was a witch. This is a picture from that night. Aren’t we cute? I think I look really sexy; and despite the fact you can’t see his face - I think he’s really cute. He’s wearing a sticker that says “I gave blood today.” Northwest was fond of having blood drives on Halloween and St Patty’s Day. Click to enlarge

“my life in cars”
I learned to drive in a 1986 Toyota corolla. It was a tiny weeny little car. It was an automatic (as all my cars are.) The shifter was on the floor. the car was blue on the outside, with a blue plaid fabric on the inside. it wasn’t automatic anything. It was my parents car, and my senior year of HS I got to drive it to school every day. When I went away to college I didn’t take a car with me. My parents drove me to college in the “good car” which, at the time was a 92 Chevy cavalier. I *think*. It was really nice when we got it, used of course, but over time it became the shit car. To-wards the very end it wouldn’t come out of 1st gear. It even got stolen once. When we got it back there were crack pipes in the car. I digress. The blue car..or little boy blue..died when I was still in college. My parents got a 92 Mini Van that was pretty cool. I didn’t like driving it at first, but the possibilities for fun in that van totally won me over. ::kiss::
When I graduated from college in 2000 my parents gave me a 1985 Ford Ltd. He was called Monty (the Ambisexual Toasted Marshmallow car) He was a toasted marshmallow color. He was a big ole beast. Totally fun to drive. Had these great wing windows, super when I was a smoker. There was a tape deck, and radio. I didn’t like him in the show though - no real wheel traction. The Mr Q&0153; drove him down here to Florida and about 8 months later he finally bit the dust. He was sold for parts. ::cry::
I inherited my next car. From my husband. He brought it to the marriage anyway. A 92 Mercury Topaz with a red interior. It used to be his sisters car. I didn’t care for it so much - too little. Power everything. My CD car kit worked in this car too. When this car bit the dust last January we had to get a new one. We got a 92 Ford Tempo - Starr - white outside and red inside. This car is nearly IDENTICAL to the last one! The body is a little different but the Haynes manual is the same. Power nothing. And it leaks. The window on the drivers side doesn’t even close properly. The trunk leaks, the CD player skips and the headlight casing leaks so we’ve always got a blown headlight. The worst thing about this car is that is has NO AC!!!
There you have it. My life in cars. Well..if you don’t count The Mr Q&0153;s red fort escort wagon and dad’s 2000 ranger that I used to drive a lot too. Those cars were never mine though. Neither was the above mentioned Chevy.
What’s YOUR life in cars like?
"Now this looks like a job for me so everybody just follow me/ cuz we need a little controversy, cuz it feels so empty without me”
That’s IT. I love this man. He’s I am a sucka for satire. His lyrics are FRAUGHT with it. He’s amazing fucking poet.
“Though I’m not the first king of controversy/ I am the worst thing since Elvis Presley, to do Black Music so selfishly/ and use it to get myself wealthy (Hey)/ there’s a concept that works/ 20 million other white rappers emerge/ but no matter how many fish in the sea it’d be so empty without me”
Granted I don’t like 100% of what he says, but I don’t like 100% of what ANYBODY says.

ive stopped watching General Hospital. I was sick of the story lines this go round. Didn’t care who Emily chose, of even if she died. Couldn’t care less if Carly fell in love with Alzacar. It was all crap. It was surprisingly easy to stop watching. When I was home in KC I didn’t watch much TV at all, and definitely not in the middle of the afternoon. so i haven’t seen it since the Friday before I left. right now, on soapnet, the weekly marathon on is on. I don’t care.
has there been a show that you just stopped watching, and it was too easy?
Chris Isaak is the man! He’s the MAN! This song SO captures my feelings right now. Since I am only talking in riddles and half truths right now, this will have to do.
Chris Isaak -"Wicked Game”
The world was on fire and no one could save me but you.
It’s strange what desire will make foolish people do.
I never dreamed that I’d meet somebody like you.
And I never dreamed that I knew somebody like you.
No, I don’t want to fall in love. (This world is only gonna break your heart)
No, I don’t want to fall in love. (This world is only gonna break your heart)
With you. With you. (This world is only gonna break your heart)
when people would ask me what I wanted to do when I was older, I couldn’t always tell them. but I could always tell them where - Kansas City.
