ive been feeling very blue, grey and quiet today. it’s most likely a factor of the weather.  there hasn’t been any sun out today.  granted - i like the rain and all; but the no sunsine thing does get to me. i don’t feel BAD perse, just...well...blue/grey and quiet.

can someone tell me why it’s so god damn great that we got Saddam when Osama is the one we think was behind nine eleven? and explain it to me in terms that i can understand.  like my 7th grade math teacher used to say “pretend I am fat and happy and tell me how it is.”

today, while eating lunch at the Olive Garden, my flip flop broke.  right as i was getting up to go potty.  which meant I had to walk all the way across the restaurant with one foot bare. and then in the bathroom. and then back again. it was not fun.  i had to drive barefoot too, i really don’t like that.  but i DO like getting new shoes. the best way to get new shoes is to go shopping with TheBestFriend&0153;. but since shes a current resident of Missouri it makes a little hard.  BUT she happened to call me on my cell while i was in the store - so I got to shop with her :) it was fun.  the ones I ultimately picked aren’t the MOST comfortable flip flops ever - but they ARE really cute ::grin::

our car is finally gone.  we are $30 dollars richer and we’ve got no mean apartment complex on our ass.  (not they ever were really, but a girls gotta say something.) i can finally get some good batteries for this camera.  i got some yesterday at the dollar store but apparently they aren’t strong enough. i wanted to try to take a picture of the car on the truck bed but it just wouldn’t take.  and they are brand new EverReady batteries - super heavy duty too.  i guess i need to get some Duracell.  we are going to get a charger and some chargeable batteries soon, but i want an immediate fix ::grin::  also I want to take pictures of these all these pictures I found yesterday while on a search for something else. All these ones from KDLX in college and stuff.  There is this board, called the Wednesday Night Club, where I want to post some of them.  I have to use the camera to take snap shots of them cause my scanner bit it, and we don’t have the spare cash to get a new one.  It’s all good.  ::smiley::

For a Little background about her quote.  When were in college spring of 00 - she was doing a little flirty thing with this guy we both know. He came to visit her at school - this being the first time they were to meet in person.  She was really nervous about his visit. She filled her room with food, just in case he got hungry - she wanted to EVERYTHING he could possibly want. Anywhos...as we’re walking down to the store to get the food she was doing this very TheBestFriend&0153; like thing - doing a little excited dance thing while making up a little song. It’s SO cute - she’s my monkeyspaz.  anywhos...as she’s doing this - the sugar rush from my pixie sticks hits and I snap.  My mind went ZOOOOOOM and I was suddenly more creative than Andy Warhol - or someone else as equally creative.  I piped up with this witty retort.  “Stop Singing the porno song - you little whore.” It went over like...well...”cake or death?”.  All the people were with nearly fell down from laughing - TheBestFriend&0153; included. I think I did fall down.  Or maybe I just peed - a little.  For some reason we both have that quote in a very special place in our hearts.  That’s all all I have to say about that.

Now for the ripped off part - or what I like to call Lukafied� - 5 things you may have not known about TheBestFriend&0153;.

• she and I double-met�.  She rushed my sorority and was in Kindership all that semester. She opted not to pledge in the first part of the second semester of that year.  That same semester we had a class together (something psychology) and she started to date PTS; thus making us part of a super couple 4 some. (that sounds WAY dirtier than it was.) We totally clicked and by the end of the year we were best friends; that was fall 99 and spring 00.  Wow.
• she got tricked into grabbing some guys balls at St Patty’s day night out. to be fair everyone was drunk and no one did anything other than some innocent groping.  and maybe some crushing of heads! oh, and the easter themed sweet tarts.  those were goooood.
• speaking of sweet -tarts. we have a tradition of getting those yummy little candies on every road trip we take.  we love those things.
• TheBestFriend&0153; is the most best friend a girl could ask for.  she always listens to me.  she doesn’t judge me, or anything about my life.  she accepts me for who I am - flaws in all.  she never lets me down.  she has the most amazing sense of humor and the the quickest wit.
• TheBestFriend&0153; gave me the most excellent graduation present.  she made a fish bowl covered in cut class. but she didn’t use a pattern. she just broke the glass on her own. it’s the most amazing thing I own.

most likely I won’t do this whole story thing for the 500th comment - i know her like the back of my hand - so i have a lot more to blab about with her ::grin::  but who knows. ::smiley::

300th, 200th and 100th

so tonight I was watching Smallville on the WB like I do every Wednesday night.  the hubby commented about the blueness of Adam’s (Ian Somerhalder) eyes in relation to Clark’s (Tom Welling).  That got me to thinking about the hotness of all the Clark/Superman versions there have in my recent memory.  So I figured I needed to ask the people (you) about which of the last 3 CK/S did you like the best?
