I am 25 years old. I should not be asleep before 9pm and up before 5am. I probably shouldn't be blog surfing either...

I'm taking advantage of FFAF to pimp my blog and to confess my obsession with Lord of the Rings. Because Return of the King was nominated for 11 Oscars, I was actually considering having an Oscar party! When Peter Jackson won the Golden Globe for Best Director and another for Best Film, I got teary. Hell, I felt proud. Proud? I didn't have anything to do with the achievement!

Encore likes to show Fellowship of the Ring two or three times a week, it seems. So, when I happen to find it amid channel surfing, I'll pause long enough to figure out where in the movie I am, and start quoting the dialogue.

Why am I sharing this with you, Luka's readers, complete strangers?

Hm, probably because my readers are sick of hearing about it! ;)

So anyway, if you share my obsession or have any remedies, let me know!

Immature title but today it really does. It is free for all friday and I'm stuck in computing...but guess what- I got moved to the front! I hate my teacher, she's always getting on at me for doing other things :p She has no brains, unlike us lot- Well Luka at least. How did you get that comment to stay on top? Post it at a future time? You know. When I came here, I had no idea what I was going to say. Then I typed guets, then giest, then yw==fwar as the id. I didn't hit submit so they're not in the logs... but nonetheless it was embarrassing.

So, one has to ask themselves, why am I admitting to it?

i need to rip my cd's. im working on a compilation project and don't want to use any illegibly obtained tracks. so i need to something to make mp3s outta my cd's. I use WIN XP and it's gotta be free. even a 30 day trial will work at this point



p.s. i would like them to be MP3s now that i think about it. i might as well be able to add them my radio.blog if I am gonna take the time to rip them. the converter doesnt support win media files. they have to be MP3s from what ive found.

it rained today. it rained yesterday and the day before too, but today i had my camera out with me. i took this picture while sitting in a Publix parking lot waiting for a client. it looks like ice, it does. but it's just the rain on my windshield. it felt a little like a cave when i didn't wipe the rain away. it was nice. i just sat in my car and listened to rain on my car. i do hate driving in the rain though. but sitting in it was nice. and i didn't have to get out of my car again until after it had stopped raining. it was super.


it didn't rain all day. later in the day it got all nice and sunny. it was sooo beautiful. i just had to snap this picture of palm trees against the bright blue sky. it's funny, cause i took this picture at about 3:30 today, and now, at like 5, it's all cloudy again. not raining; but no blue skies anymore. this picture represents the prettiest of weather here in the area. it's bright and breezy; sunny and warm. just perfect. everything is lush and wet but it's not terribly humid.


this is a package of candy that i got today. aren't they just too cute? little bees and bugs filled with hazelnut creme and crisped rice. i always wonder ; is crisped rice really rice? i know that popcorn is really corn, but is it the same with rice? i almost don't want to eat this little candies - they are so cute. but i bet they are yummy so I will HAVE to eat them

when my husband and i first got together we never had the occasion to do our bathroom business near each other. then he got his own apartment. i would try to talk to him while he was in the john; and he really didn't like it. then we got married and moved into our own apartment. for a long while we'd still shut the door and not speak to each other while we were in the john. now we don't close the door when we're in there. only time it closes is when we've got company. do you think that's weird? i don't have any issues with him hearing me do my thing in there. hell. ill sit on the stairs in front of the john and talk to him while he doing his bidness. seriously. we're freaks aren't we?
