key lime pie is so freaking yummy. I made some today and I am eating a delicious piece right now. it's nice and creamy and tangy. the best - it's wickedly simply to made. It's 3 ingredients + a crust. That's it.
Easy as Pie Key Lime
1 can - 14oz sweetened condensed milk
3 egg yolks
1/4 cup key lime juice (or regular lime juice)
one graham cracker pie crust
whipped cream - 2 cups, optional for topping
pre-heat oven to 300F
in a bowl wisk milk and eggs together until light yellow. add in the juice. stir until silky. pour mixture into crust. bake for 15 minutes. remove from over and cool for 15 minutes until placing in refrigerator for 2 hours. once cool top with whipped cream if desired.
