phone usage questions

We have caller ID on our phones.  I lurve me some caller ID.  I never answer the phone unless I recognize the number.  If it says private or unknown that thing goes straight to voice mail.  What are you?  Do you have it? What’s your policy on that?  When we didn’t have caller ID I’d try to wait until after the second ring to answer the phone. What about you?  Also - if I’m calling someplace and no one answers and it doesn’t go to a message thing after 4 rings I hang up. How about you?

i called myself

I set an alarm on my phone.  To call myself.  Because that’s the only way I CAN set an alarm.  It rang and like a good girl I turned it off. Then my home phone rang. So I walked over to my home phone and looked down at the number.  That’s when I saw that I was calling myself.

I am the smartest monkey ever.

he said true blave

I think that real love is not all sun shine and roses. I think that real love is hard work. It’s gritty and annoying.  It’s also warm and loving. It’s passionate and friendly. But it’s work. It doesn’t come easily to anyone. Ever. If anyone tell you that real love is easy - they don’t have real love in their lives.

But I also believe in love and first interaction. (Not first sight because I’m not shallow like that.) I believe that a couple could meet and know each other for short time and develop a long and lasting love.

I can believe both. I do believe both.  It’s not a contradiction in terms. Really.  It doesn’t matter where or how the love started. If you work to keep it - then it’s real love.  I knew I could do that :)

P.S I was all excited cause during the Project Blog saturday I had 31 visitors at one time.  That was an all time high. I beat is last evening. The most visitors ever was 61 on 07/27/2004 11:45 pm. Black Hole Be Gone I say, Be GONE!

i need a shower

I think I’ve finally caught up on my sleep loss.  I don’t feel tired anymore.  I feel sick, but that’s a totally different thing.  I guess tonight on the bube tube we’ll be watching the Democratic Convention.  I think that Kerry speaks tonight - and I guess Edwards too? I don’t know. But I will be watching it.  Or at least the bits that John Stewart shows in the Daily Show.  John Stewart is my secret late night political boyfriend. Whoosh. Did I just say that out loud? :)

you’re the kind of friend

After 24 hours I raised 150$ for amFAR. That’s about 6.25 an hour. That minimum wage right?  :) I don’t know.

This has been all sorts of fun!: ) Thanks to ALL my sponsors and fellow bloggers who’ve made the time so much more enjoyable! :) You know who you are :)

Anywhoo. The completed story - called “We can name it later” will be posted soon in a special format.  It was so long in the extended entry that it was unreadable. I will post it when it’s done.  I’m gonna color code it too :) So you can see who wrote what ;)
