This past week has been such a whirl wind. I’ve been so active offline that my online life has suffered.  Emails have gone un responded to and blog posts have remained unwritten.  Heck - websites have remained un edited as well.  It’s been crazy.  Our car needs to have the water pump replaced so the Mr Q&0153; is working on that now and two of our friends (Nick and Chong - alias’ to be sure) are coming over later this afternoon to help him.  I’m glad it’s something he can fix and that it’s not something we have to take the car to the shop for.  We barely have enough money for the part - let alone any of the labour.  Everyone keep good thoughts that he will be able to finish it in one weekend - I’ve got to get back to work Monday.

I love Pink. She freaking rocks.  I was doing case notes last night and I was listening to her newest album - Try This.  I’ve loved her stuff since her first album.  It just keeps getting better and better.  Enjoy folks :)

I bet I forgot to mention this - but gypsy girl nominated me for a blog award. Over at The BlogFather there is a contest for the best designed blog.  It’s actually called The Blog Design Award.  Well today the voting has begun. Won’t you go vote?  You don’t have to vote for me if you don’t like my stuff the best - but I sure would appreciate it :)

Two of our friends came over tonight - Nick and Robin (alias’ to be sure) - and staged a Clean Sweep esque intervention.  We cleaned the entire downstairs. The living room, the downstairs bathroom, the kitchen AND the dinning room.  It’s freaking amazing.  They got here about 8ish and left about 15 minutes ago.  I don’t think I’ve ever seen this place so clean.  I didn’t do (many) before photos because those would have been embarrassing ;) I do have one set though.  Of the dinning room - which is where the motorcycle is.

After. One box that’s full and then the motorcycle with most of the parts in a plastic box.

Of course we still need to do the upstairs - but really - all that is just a need to do all the laundry. Of course Nick and Robin said we could come over to their place and use their washer and dryer so we may do that this weekend.

Being a potential juror was actually a lot of fun.  Since I only got like 2 and 1/2 hours sleep and I was at the court house from 8am until 5:45 and I am so psychically drained I cannot see straight I will save all my stories until tomorrow.

do you know what cannabis is?  one of the ladies on my panel didn’t.

I am having such a dilemma.  I’ve got jury duty tomorrow and the information says I need to wear “a dress or pantsuit.” Also I can’t wear jeans or shorts.  Problem is - I don’t have a pantsuit and I am not sure if my green dress is appropriate.  I am having such a hard time deciding what to wear. :( I’ve got a pair of khaki pants I can wear with a number of different shirts, but what if that isn’t dressy enough?  I could wear that long green skirt but I can’t seem to find a top that matches.  End the end I can only wear what I have.  I just hope it’s good enough.  It’s just freaking me out.  I am all excited about the possibility of serving on a jury (because it’s the one place an ordinary citizen really has a chance to make a different in the justice system) but trying to figure out what to wear is totally freaking me out. I don’t want to be sent home for not wearing the right stuff.

This is sort of a weird question.  But bear with me.  Also - it totally won’t make sense if you’re a guy.

Let’s say that polygamy is a normal state of life.  It’s the norm and totally expected. If you have to chose between being the third wife of the head of an empire or the first wife of his second in command - which would you chose?  Being the third wife of the leader is very prestigious.  You are very wealthy.  But you are the THIRD wife and thus low on the totem pole of that relationship. Being the first wife of the second in command (younger brother) is different.  It does not have as much prestige or wealth.  But the relationship is top notch and the sex is great.  You are the first, and currently ONLY wife of this leader.  Which would you chose?

now would be much better time to watch that movie.  much much

I only like to watch the big displays of fireworks.  I don’t enjoy setting them off myself - or evern watching other set them off.  Listening to them set them off isn’t much fun either.  IT really sort of scares me.

Psycho Beach Party is a trippy flick.  I so should have watched this movie when totally baked.  It would be much better ;)
