So I’ve been watching a lot of old BH 90210 episodes on FX. I’ve found that I really like the ones with the kids in the latter part of HS the best.  I also like the Kelly/Brandon non wedding time as well.  I can’t see why I thought Brandon was cute though. He’s so.  I don’t know. He does look better now, Jason Priestly I mean.  Luka Perry was always my favorite though. Dylan wasn’t. He was just too damn self destructive.  I watched the “kellys 21st birthday” episode yesterday.  Those were some damn sophisticated 21 year olds.  I also noticed how much tummy that Claire and Donna always showed. They were always like 1/2 dressed.  I could swear Kelly did drugs for a while too. Didn’t she?  I can’t remember.  I watched it fairly diligently from the time it started until I went to college.  (It started when I was in 7th grade.) The episode where they graduate from college is coming up soon - and I like that one cause Kelly (Jennie Garth) is like uber pregnant and they try SO desperately to hide it.  It’s just funny.  I miss Brenda though. She was pretty bad ass.  I always liked Brenda. :) Course I always liked Kelly too.  They’re all dumb though :) Donna’s the worse.  She always lets people just walk all over her.  These shows are SOOO bad. I can’t believe I used to love them so much.  I must have been so dumb :)

The kitten will sit and snuggle with daddy for ever.  She’ll let him scratch her belly and her head and her face. She’ll let him just snuggle. But as soon as I walk over to say hello. She runs away.

It’s a good thing I don’t let that bother me. Isn’t it? 

And then..after I walk away and go sit down someplace else - she climbs right back into his lap to sit and snuggle.

Bitch. 

So I’ve been really quiet the last two day. I know.  I apologize. 

I like the new skin.  But I am thinking I need to change up the colors a bit.  The pink text is really hard to read.

I think I may go on a killing rampage if I am forced to listen to any more of the RNC.  It’s only night ONE and every things been about 9/11. Those fuckers. Using such a tragedy to garner votes for their fuck head nominee.

It’s been all about the birthdays the last couple of days. Saturday was a co workers birthday. Sunday was my friend Tess’ birthday. Today was a client birthday. Tomorrow is my uncles birthday.  Hot damn it’s a lot of August babies.

I’ve been roped in to go to the bar tonight. We haven’t been in months. I am not super looking froward to it. I would rather stay home and go to bed actually.

I heard something today about Gov Pataki wanting to take a piece of the Saddam statue that the US toppled and place it in the base of the new WTC building.  Funny. That would be the FIRST real link to Saddam and the WTC attacks.  Fuckers.

The more the RNC is on in the background...the more pissed off I get. They are BLATANTLY using the 9/11 attacks to justify their war. It’s a fucking smoke screen and I’m sick to death of it. Nov 2nd can’t get here fast enough!

I tried to update my EE to 1.1 today.  I totally borked it at first. There were major SQL errors.  I asked some people for help, and then posted on the EE forums. I didn’t get a response. I racked my brain trying to figure out what to do. I figured I should just install the stuff again and re-update. It worked! :) All issues are resolved and my site works again.  I even think we ping automatically now! :) Whoo Hoo! :) Not sure I will use the expiration dates on the comments or not.  I sort of LIKE having people comment on old shite ;) Anyway.  If you came by earlier and saw a bunch of scary code - that’s what it was.  A borked EE upgrade! :) (Also I’d like to say how happy I am that the publish page no longer scrolls L-R!!)

Edited to add : the skins were borked for a while too.  If you notice ANYTHING that is unusual or different please let me know :)

My boss called me at 9am today. Normally that would be a bad thing, right. But not today. She called to invite me to brunch.  It was a fellow co workers birthday so she was treating us. It was very nice. We went to this place called First Watch near the University Mall.  I had a Key West Crepe - (Smoked turkey, avocado, bacon, tomatoes and Monterey Jack cheese. Topped with sour cream. Served with salsa on the side.) It was soooo good! :) I had mostly water to drink, but then towards the end I got a little bitty glass of OJ too.  I really want to take my husband there sometime. I think he’d really like the omelettes.  The one I had was all cheesy and fluffy and filled with yummy soft avocados. Oh man. I’m craving some avocados now :)

After brunch I went to Ross to get some new clothes. I ended up getting two pairs of jeans and a cute pink poncho. I’d been looking for a cute poncho for a while now. This one is a pretty pinky coral color.  It’s a little itchy on bare skin, but its not too bad.  Kayce thinks the fringe is fun - which can’t be good. I’ll just have to keep the poncho hidden when im not wearing it. There was another cute poncho that I wanted to get.  It was pink and black. It was asymetrical and stripped. It had thick stripes like this one. Maybe I’ll be able to get it soon :) I wanted some other cute tops but I couldn’t really find anything I wanted. But it all worked out cause I really wanted the pink poncho and the jeans :) I just need some new socks/panties/bras now :)
