Coffee or tea? How about neither!? lol I don’t like either of them, tea is just not my thing and coffee, I don’t do hot drinks too well. I also don’t like cola sodas either, so feel free to hit me now, I know…
The wardrobe question is hard - there are plenty of periods in time that I would LOVE to visit, but I’ve never really thought about the clothing. Probably the 1920’s… yeah, that’d be cool!!
Oh, and happy Easter to you. :-)
I have to admit I’m a tea person. I can’t stand the fuzzy aftertaste that you get with coffee, except when it’s a coffee (or caramel) frappuchino from starbucks, but that doesn’t happen often - you don’t get much change from your fivers. Or can we just change it completely and say that my favourite drink is Sparkly Water, and it’s good for you! :p
It’s that time again.. It’s the last Friday of the month...It’s Free for All Friday time.
Which means this : you can log in and post at incogblogo. It’s all sorts of fun. You should try it

bad Terry Schiavo observation/joke ahead. It’s in bad taste, I think. But you’ve been warned. As it goes on it’s also sort of ranty and obnoxious. It aint pretty folks
I wonder if when I give birth my husband will call me Ruthie or by my given name Ruth during the birthing process. No, this isn’t some cryptic message about being pregnant - I was just watching ”A Baby Story” On TLC.
I got up with the hubby this morning and I was doing a bit of light teevee watching. I’m also watching the Charmed Episode “Sam I Am.” It’s a Cole Centric episode from the season where Piper (played by Holly Marie Combs) is pregnant with Wyatt. (Who should have been a girl, since all Halliwell children are female, but whatever. I don’t understand/remember how that one happened either.
It’s funny. Piper is pregnant in this show. She’s just barely pregnant, but she makes cracks about her boobs being all big cause of the baby. Course - I’m not switching back to A Baby Story. After I watched the cop mom totally loose it while giving birth, I’m just done with it. Cole’s cuter besides. That Julian McMahon is awful yummy!
Damn I miss Nip/Tuck! The names on that show are great. Cristian. Sean. Julia. Matt. Ava. Adrian. That style. All that shocking information just given up, right like that. It’s great. I don’t think it comes back until July though. Bummer.
On Jan 26th a litter of kittens were born. We have been promised that when those kitties are 10 weeks old, we get to bring one into our home. We’ve been promised a boy - who’s name we’ve decided on. We aren’t sharing the name just yet, though. Hubby told me yesterday that the boy we’ve been promised - has been deemed “the emotional one.” He will sit in the middle of the room and cry until someones comes to love him. He, in an adventuresome streak, climbed to the top of the box that keeps the kitties in their own room, and was all “look at me, look what I can do” and when his current human mama just picked up up and put him back down on the floor - he cried and hid from her. I am looking forward to having a kitty who craves attention. Kayce will snuggle, but it’s totally on her terms, which is just right for a cat, but it leaves me wishing for more. She’s a daddy’s girl, which is great for them! But it really leaves Mommy out in the cold. I am thinking that our new boy will help fill that cold. Of course - it could just be “boy kitty fighting with much larger girl kitty” and no snuggle snuggle at all. That would suck. I just can’t see it though. I can’t see Kayce being mean to him. I do worry that she’ll try to play with him too hard and hurt him. She’s got claws, and they’ve gotten so long lately she’s getting them stuck on everything. We’ve been thinking about getting her declawed. She’s an indoor cat, totally, and it may help their relationship if she can’t scratch the hell out of him. I’m just so excited. We should be getting our new boy in the 2nd weekend in April. Roughly. :)
I implemented a new design, one designed by Kathy of Blog Moxie from the EE template pack, on March 12th. Today I finally made all my various non blog and blog pages to match. I also did some tweaking and twisting to my side bar. I think it flows a bit better now, don’t cha think? I am not sure that I will have skins again, but I do want to set it up it for skinning. The header/footer thing makes changing the side bar a lot easier! Of course, now that I’ve finished editing the side bar, it doesn’t really matter. But whatever! :) I’ve also changed the byline again. Now it doesn’t show my name, but since I added my name to the header, I think it’s ok. If I have a guest author, which I will on Friday since It’s FFAF, it WILL indicate that. It’s something that’s built into EE I just didn’t know it. It’s been fun messing with stuff. I also added a picture of me to my ”Luka 101” page. Hell, I even added my REAL name to that page.
Of course, I’ve still not fixed that error on the comments page/permalink. The code was orginally written for MT and I sort of made it work here with EE, and it DOES work, it just shows that ugly error still. :(
