consumerism

My friend Phil is selling his lap top on ebay. He asked me if I’d share this with you all.  If you are in the market for a new lap top, won’t you check it out?

three question free-for-all…
Avatar for {name}

i will attempt to answer all of your queries though possibly not meaningfully…

If your life were a poem, which one would it be?
my life would be a limerick of course possibly a slightly dirty yet imperfect one say:
there once was a man from nantucket
whose finger was so long he would suck it
so he said with a grin
while wiping spit from his index finger, er chin
till you’ve tried it don’t muck it!

Coffee or tea? Why? And how do you make the perfect cup?
coffee as i am from a city where starbucks barely survives as the poeple here have had good coffee shops since the 1860s and know when coffee is burnt and undrinkable!

If you could choose to wear the clothes of any one period of history, which would you choose?
cave man clothes are best, loose fitting fur lined and easy to find!

happy Purim!

thanks for the FFAF,
Schleifnet

¿Té o Café?
Avatar for {name}

Another FFAF, a moment to think in the little things of the life…

Luka asked us Coffee or tea? Why? And how do you make the perfect cup? . I prefer tea, ‘cause I can’t drink coffee (in other words, I hate the coffee).

I make my perfect cup with hot water, a glass with cold water, a tea bag (the label doesn’t import), lots of sugar (3 or 4 teaspoon), and my Harry Potter cup. I add hot water until 3/4 of the cup, then I “dissolve” the tea bag and the sugar with the hot water, and in the end I add a few of the cold water.

Wait a moment, I must go to the kitchen ;)

PS: What moment of the day are we in the wee hours. I’ve heard el día del loly, but not that.

Tea, Chai Tea, for me
Avatar for {name}

I don’t like coffee. Well, let me rephrase: I don’t like the taste of coffee; I do like the smell. I guess that’s probably at least a little weird. And don’t even think about saying, “oh, just try one of those frappa hooga choco latte -cino things—it doesn’t even taste like coffee!” Cuz, you know what? That’s so a lie. An ex-girlfriend tried that once and seeing as how she seemed so perfect at the time, I tried it. What followed was me walking for a block down Michigan Ave in Chicago spitting, rubbing my tongue and just plain trying to find some way to get the awful taste out of my mouth.

In the past year or so, I have learned to love the taste of Chai Tea. Hot or cold, I like it both ways. So, yeah, that’s my answer.

Happy FFAF!

It does me good on a bad day.

The only problem is that people laugh at me. Most everyone I know likes it “hot & black” but I like it “cool & creamy”.

Ahh Clothing

I would love the clothing of the 1920’s. The flappers, and the intersting things that they came up with. Fringe everywhere and hats and just a great time to be individual in what you wore. Have a great weekend all.

Coffee or Tea?
Avatar for {name}

Well, I love coffee, but I also love tea. In the grand scheme of things though, tea definitely wins out - hands down :D.

I’m sure you’d call me a bona fide tea snob if you saw my “tea pantry” (yes, I have a pantry specifically for tea).

Making the perfect cup? Depends on what you’re brewing. But generally for green tea, start with cold bottled spring water, bring water to an “almost” boil, pour over loose tea leaves and let steep for about 3-5 minutes (longer will make the tea bitter).

Add tons of sugar, and you’re good to go (this last part is optional, but how I prefer it).

Oh and lemme tell you about that whole Terri...(just kidding)
