I wanted to post a new poll. This poll is a total fluff poll too. Now that all 6 of the Star Wars movies are out, how do you think a new viewer should see the movies? Now - I’ve only seen bits and pieces of the original 3, but I’ve seen I, II and III. And I saw them in the theater. I am not sure I care about watching VI, V or IV. But I’ve seen em, so my choice, I guess, would be I, II, III, IV, V, VI. How about you? (I did read a blog post at some point about this topic, but heck if I know when.)
I was at a party once where this girl burned herself on some steam while cooking. She said “Man! I didn’t know steam was hot!” Seriously. Dude.
My kitty boy Kaos is so funny. Every night I give him and his sister Kayce wet food. Kaos will cry at me when I am in the kitchen and not giving him his food. He chases me down the hall way and will run circles in and under my feet. Tonight I was having a little bit of trouble getting the can open, and he was just crying and crying and making circles down my feet. It was crazy.
Hubby and I (well he’s asleep, but whatever) are watching some old episodes of Stargate SG1 and they’re showing teasers for the upcoming season. Looks like there are two new characters and an old one - Lt Ford - is gone. Plus - the upcoming season of SG1 it’s self is looking a little different too. There are two new characters and and old one gone there as well. It’s a new girl (that we’ve seen before) and a new Col for the Stargate Program. Jack’s gone. Like totally. The actor isn’t signed for any episodes. I have to hope that’s yet. I can’t see the SG1 without ANY Jack. That would just be sad. :(
A week ago today I got to pick up the most lovely car. I picked up a Chrysler Sebring Convertible in midnight blue. It was beautiful. I immediately put the top down, didn’t even drive out of the parking lot with the top up. The only time I did drive with the top up was when I was driving the car back to the airport and it started to rain. Other than that, I drove with the top down as much as humanly possible! :) You would too, if the car you were driving looked this this! I even got some pictures of me WITH the car! :) In the driver seat, through the front window Hubby took this shot, and it just didn’t quite turn out how I wanted, but at least I don’t look bad. :) In the drivers seat, but this time it’s the whole car too. This one hubby took as well, and it turned out good. Oh God. I miss that car. :( The last and final image is one I took myself. Please ignore my forehead. I’d just spent two days (plus a third at the beach on Sunday) out in the sun and my forehead wasn’t happy. Plus, I had to wear my hair back in a pony to keep it from turning into a rats nest. (And no, that’s not my husband in the seat next to me.) I did love driving the blue car, I really did. But I don’t think I’d like a convertible on a daily basis. It was hard to see with the top up, and having to deal with a pony tail every day, that wouldn’t be cool. Plus. They aren’t very safe. But MAN, was THAT a beautiful car! And the AC - it was sooo fast and cold! :) The car got great gas mileage too. We used 1/2 a tank down to Orlando and back. 1/2 a tank. (It’s a 16 gal tank, I looked it up.) SO sad when I had to turn the car in. Sooo sad. :( Better now! :)
Since I added a new skin, AND added my skins back to the blog, I though I’d do a poll. So. Which skin is YOUR favorite?
Sorry about the weirdness that occurs when viewing the poll votes. I don’t know what the deal is with that, OR how to fix it. :( Yet. I am certifiable. It’s fixed :)
This poll is now closed. I removed all skins that received zero votes.
Check that out yall! :) I’ve put my skins back on, AND I added a brand new skin. Lemme know what you think, and if you’ve got issues! :) (The skin is called Colorful Flowers and It’s #18) I know some of the other pages aren’t yet skinned again, but they’re next. :)
This entry is #2300 :) Neato Beanito. Too bad it’s a crap one. ;)
Tuesday morning after hubby took the car into the shop to have the oil changed, he was involved in an accident. He was pulling over to the side of the road because a big yellow firetruck had just turned on his lights. The SVU behind him wasn’t paying as much attention and slammed into the back of our. Everyone got out, the driver asked it he was ok. Hubby said that he was, and suggested the move out of the road into the parking lot about 10 feet up to exchange into. Everyone got into their cars, hubby slowly pulled forward, and when he next looked back the SUV was gone. As you can see from the picture, the back is all crunched up. Our insurance doesn’t cover this, so we’re on our own to fix it. We’ve not had it looked at yet, we don’t even know where or how to start with that. Hubby got the trunk tied down so it won’t come up when I’m driving, but I still need to get everything out of the trunk and then waterproof the truck as much as I can. There are huge gaps on the sides, and underneath on the back. The lights still work, so that’s a plus. How we will pay for fixing this, I don’t know.
I’m relived that hubby is ok, but I am pissed beyond belief that some fucker hit my car, and then fucking LEFT before exchanging information! Fucking felon. I hope you get some sort of weird infection that can only be cleared up with the use of Maggots. And that the Maggots make you insane. Ass wipe!!
I totally forgot about this. After the driver and his passenger took off, hubby called the cops. 90 minutes later a Cop showed up, but not because he was sent there. He said they never got the call - which is bullshit. He did give hubby a form to fill out and mail in - but a fuck lot good that will do since it’s going to Tallahassee. (course they COULD feel guilty and turn themselves in, or something.) It was a late model beigeish SUV; and LONG f’ing gone before the copper got there.
In about 2 and 1/2 hours I will be at the Airport picking up my rental car. A convertible. Then I will heading to Orlando to go to Universal Studios Islands of Adventure. I am going with a client. This is a working (read paid) vacation. I am SO excited! I’ve finished up my case notes (finally) and I am nearly all packed. All that’s left for me to do is meet my boss to turn in the case notes and to get a packet for an annual meeting on another client. (It’s on Thursday. And I just had one on Sat too - they bite.) I don’t have a laptop and our hotel doesn’t come with computers in the rooms (do any?) so I don’t think I will be posting. I can post from my phone, and it’s likely that I will do that. :) I am SO excited! :) This should be fun! :) My sunburns gone down a bit, and by tomorrow it should be like it never happened! :) Viva la revolution! :)
I did something today that I had never done before. I body surfed in the Gulf. About a month ago I went with Hubby and a friend, PSR, to the beach. Today we went back. The surf was up - slightly - and I brought my swimsuit this time. I spent hours in the water, jumping on the waves and trying to body surf them. I actually caught a couple. It was so much freaking fun! :) Oh my goodness! I f’ing loved it! :) I did get wicked sunburned though - my face especially. I wore sunblock, but it must have washed away some. I’m sure I will live, but hopefully it’s better by Tuesday. Who wants a sunburn on top on a sunburn? I didn’t put any of the heavy stuff on my face - I wear spf 15 lotion anyway - I know now that’s not enough. I’m gonna get some better stuff tomorrow. But the water. Oh MAN! It was chilly at first, when the waves first hit you they were sort of shocking, but then you get used to it. I was in for like 2 hours, maybe, and It never got warm - it was always cool. Plus since it was early - we got into the water at like 9 - it wasn’t that hot yet. It was breezy and cloudy. It was an absolutely delightful time. Towards the end I couldn’t open my eyes from the salt, and I was too tired to fight the waves anymore, but whatever. I am in love with it! :) I want to learn to body surf - then maybe actual surfing when there’s less of me that has to hop up on the board! :) Surf’s up baby! :)
