All Right.  So these contests that I spoke of go like this.  At the bottom of every hour I am going to post one of three things. Either a trivia question (or two) that I’ve pulled from my Trivial Pursuit game, a music lyric quote, or a movie quote. I will donate $1* to the first person to get the correct answer.  Some will be easier than others, and sometimes I will give more than a buck.  It’s pretty easy, just comment and win money for your charity. Granted - you can only win once, but if you happen to win a second time, you choose the charity of another blogger for me to donate too. Got it? Good?  (Any questions - or whatever, just comment!)

Good morning intetnets! :) This is my first post of the day. There are Many Many to follow! :) Today is the Blogathon! :) Whoo Hoo! :)

As of this moment I have raised 183.50 for Amnesty International. My goal is $250, so hopefully with some more kind help from strangers I will be able to pull it off.

I have a new default skin, that I set up last night. It’s call oh l’amour and it’s got two side bars - but one is just for Thon Stuff*! :) (The Image is by French Kitty) If you want to just reset your skin, you can do that here. There is a reset link in the skin drop down menu too.

A note about comments. I monitor comments unless you are registered. If you want to register there is a link in the side bar. Registration is my self authorization, but I manually move you to a group that can comment without moderation.  Since I will be around all day it won’t take too long to get into that group. I don’t delete messages unless they are spam , but it may take a bit to approve with all that I’m doing today. Not only do I need to write a post every 30 minutes, but I am also a monitor. AND I’m having connection issues. So bare with me! :) (Benefits to moderation include avatars and signatures in comments, as well as not having to be moderated! :)

What should have taken about 2 minutes, took about 12 hours.  Last night I decided to upgrade my EE from 1.3 to 1.3.1. I was in the middle of uploading the files to the server when the Internet crapped out. It’s been doing this all week. Sometimes it goes out for 5 minutes, sometimes an hour.  We don’t know why it’s doing it either. I called the cable people, on my cell phone since we use Vonage, and they told us to check the splitter and bypass it.  So, hubby did that and we found that the cable bit was coming apart. So hubby starts trying to fix it. Then the guy tells me that’s not what the problem is and schedules an appt for Monday.  Yeah. Cause that will help me on Saturday during the Blogathon. Anyway, in hubby trying to fix the broken end, he finds that he can’t fix it and there’s nothing we can do until we get a new part.  So my blog was broken until I get the new 3 dollar part this morning at Satan’s Five and Dime.  When I got home as 8:30 I tried fixing it myself.  I ended up just by passing the cable and unplugging the one that goes to the TV and plugging the Internet one into the wall. I’m not watching tv so I don’t care. The stupid thing it stuck under this massive bookshelf and I couldn’t get it in to where it needed to go.  Over the weekend I think hubby and I need to remedy that problem.  I did get my EE upgraded just now, but I know my site was offline that whole time. Hopefully it didn’t cause too many issues with people on the Blogathon webring. I’m just happy it’s fixed. Now, if I can keep it from going out tomorrow, I WILL be happy! :)

I am sad.  Hubby and I finished up the last of the LOST episodes tonight.  I freaking LOVE this show.

Is it time yet?  Man. It’s gonna be a reeeeeealy long wait for me.

Boy. People are snarky in this library. The staff is helpful enough, but I already got shhused at once for talking. And I was whispering too. I dare that fucker to do it again.  I’l cut cha brother. I’ll cut cha. Yeah, I am at the library with a client, which is snazzy. She wants to learn how to use the internet again so I am helping her get set up with email and whatnot.  She’s not been online in a while so things are a little new for her.  I was verbally assiting her when I got shhsuhed. Hence the irritation.  If it happens again I will say excuse me, then continue helping her.  It’s not like there is a sign that says no talking.  And I was WHISPRING for fucks sake.

I am trying to get audioblog.com to work here so I can moblog, but so far I’ve had no luck. Hopefully I can get it done before Sat - audio blogging for the Blogathon is fun :)

Tonight hubby and I will be going out to dinner. it’s out 4th aniversary today. I cannot believe I have been married to my wonderful man for FOUR FREAKING YEARS! :) It feels like we just got married last week, AND it feels like I’ve been married to him my whole life too. It’s faboo! :) We loves it.  We loves being married, yes we do. :)

I have an overwhelming desire to throw things at the other comptuer users in the room. Oh yes I do.  this library is pretty snazzy though - it gives me 60 minutes instead of just 20. That’s nice for her to be able to get on so long too. Since she doesn’t have/can’t afford access at home.  I love technology. :)

I will likely be pretty quiet here for the next few days. With the Blogathon happening on Saturday I sort of need to store up my blog mojo, if you know what I mean :)
