I’ve finally managed to take a shower.  It’s a good thing I can shower quickly, that’s for sure. I cannot believe it’s already 7pm.  My boss said she’s gonna bring me my paycheck about 7:30 - pretty nice of her I say!  :) Best. Boss. Ever.  She’s like the best part of my job - really.  Lemme tell you a story, and you’ll see what I mean.

The other day at B.ank of USA (not it’s real name but you know what I mean) we were trying to add my name as a signature - so that I can write checks for this client. The woman who was helping us, Jenny Bowls (also not her real name) was snotty as shit, and just a bitch to work with. She went round and round about we needed this and that, and how she was just being “anal” and how she wanted “to do it right.” She asked us for stuff we didn’t have with us, and had never needed before to set this up. (I am on 3 other client accounts in this way.) Yeah.  B.ank of USA suxor! She did let us get the shite set up, but it took like an hour and it was like pulling teeth the whole time. She had NO idea what she was talking about in regards to the reason my company is the rep payee for these clients. She said something about “according to the court order - what does {her} court order say?” The reason I have to be a signature line on the accounts is because of THEIR rules, not because of my client.  B.ank of USA treats representative payee accounts as though the account holder is a minor and thus they cannot access any of their money.  We have to have the accounts set up as rep payee - that’s the way it works with Social Security. Legally the money is theirs and they are supposed to have full access to it - and I am supposed to assisted them in managing it correctly. But because of the way B.ank of USA has it set up, I am the only one, along with my boss, who can write checks on the account. Technically when I had them sign the checks they aren’t supposed to let them thru (but they always do.) So, I am the only one allowed to draw money out (per the banks rules), but I can’t draw money out without my clients approval (per company and soc sec rules.) It’s crazy shit. Doing anything with B.ank of USA is like that. I ordered a check card for a client and they linked the card to the corporate checking AND corporate savings account - but NOT to this clients account.  Client opened an account in June and when we went in last week to ask about the checks we found that the order had been canceled, with no notification or note as to why.  Pulling teeth, I tell you pulling teeth.

So, I’ve moved this big old light to right next to me to get some good light for this webcam business.  The pop up desk cam is working finally, and now I’m trying to get my webcam going.  OHB’s helping me out, as usual, and it’ just taking forever. (Not cause he can’t help me, but cause I’m all daft and shit.) Hubby is in the kitchen making something. He won’t tell me what, and he won’t let me in.  He did ask where the baking soda was, so I assume it’s something baked. I bet it’s cookies.  I’ve got things to keep me distracted.  Like making sure that everyone can see just how dorky I really am! :)
