It’s not even Halloween and my extended Family had drawn the names for the Giftmas Exchange. We’ve ALWAYS waited until Thanksgiving before this year. Always. We’ve never done it this way before. WFT.

Of course the French Family (named so because they live in France) is participating this year. So everyone had to know their people early so the gifts would getdelivered on time.  That makes it acceptable. (Especially since i LOVE the Giftmas Exchange and LOVE knowing Early. It just sort of throws off my Holiday Cheer. I’m supposed to be all excited about Halloween. NotGiftmas . Not Yet. It’s Orange/Purple/Black/Green in my head. Not Red/White/Blue/Green. Thanks Holiday Fairy. You’re making me queasy. Maybe I should open up one of those packages of glow braclets I got at the dollar store today. I got 6 packages of 6 bands per. 36 is plenty.  (But I may get some more. I LOVE glow stuff!  The Party needs lots of glow stuff.) Now. Now I’m happy. My brain is set in Halloween mode.  :)

Why is it, the closer I get to the weekend the busier I get? Yesterday was long. Today is shaping up to be long, and not nearly as fun. Today I had to work with 2 clients (technically) and do some shopping I did get the two birthday presents taken care of though. Both Birthday Girls will have lovelies to open! I also got the candy for my plastic pumpkin bowl for the party. I still need to get paper goods for the party, food for the party and a package/bag towrapMeli’s present it. I also have to finish up an annual packet for a support plan that’s at 2 tomorrow. That is at the middle of my day; cause tomorrow starts at 9:30 which is when I have to PICK up 2 clients and head to the Dr’s. We’ve got to deal with lunch and grocery shopping; and getting them candy for Halloween. We’ve also got to get some stuff for a broken bike tire. Then when I get home; the real fun begins.Tomorrow night I am going out with my friend Jackie for her birthday. I know of at least 3 places she’s planning on “stopping by.” I freaking detest bar hopping - but it’s the girls birthday.Whatcha gonna do.  My Karaoke bar is one of those stops; but it’s live music and prolly sucky . Maybe we’ll run into someone that I know too, so it won’t be all weird all night. Cause I KNOW it will be weird at the Mug; especially if I run into the boy who looks like that young cute god from Joan of Arcadia. (KrisLemche *.) It should be a good time. I plan on getting very intoxicated. :) Sat morn I’ve got to get up early and get the food started/purchased. The party starts at 8:30, but I plan on being at the house at 7:30. I’ve got to get paper goods too, since I won’t have time to go tomorrow.Aiii. See. AND tomorrow is the FFAF, which I am going to have open, but likely won’t be posting for.  It NEVER fails that I am busy at SHIT on FFAF days. I hardly EVER get to post on them, but I always open them. All right. That’s enough of a break. Time to get back to work. :)

Today Sippy does a review of Bath Products.  It’s wicked. Not ONLY is she in her bathtub - but she breaks the 4th wall with some nickers. I’m in stitches!

Today, I fear, is going to be a long day. A Very long day.

I had my acrylic nails removed today.  I’d been wearing them since about the 2nd week in September.  I like the long Glam nails; I’d moved from wearing them as French manicure; a neutral pink; and a bright blood red. But it was time to get back to the natural nails. Yeah, my fingers are short and stubby. I bite my nails; but they’re my nails. They’re beautiful in a different way. When I went into have them removed I got a manicure. (- the hand massage.) She left the natural nail too long. My nails are insane thing and we’re in horrible shape besides under those nails I’d been chewing on for three weeks. She shaped them so they looks pretty. But they were jagged; and falling apart. I went to Targhey* and got a 7 sided nail file. I rubbed each nail with that thing and got em to a nice length. Since they are so thin I can’t have em too long or they’re too sharp. I’d hurt myself. Or someone else.  They’re still polished in pretty light pink and are nice and smooth. Hard to see that they’d just had the acrylics pried off this morning. Ack. Ouch. I’m going with the natural look this way.

Which is funny cause while at Targhey* today I also picked up some fancy stick on eyelashes. I picked ones that are actually dramatic vrs Halloween dramatic. Black; but really feathery thick. I think I may need to go glass-less on Sat night; but they. That means I can drink with Meli on-the-night-before-her-birthday. Right. Back to the lashes. They’re one piece of my Halloween costume. (I’ve already got the blonde wig from The Todd. Think blond stripper wig. Fairly nice.) After I picked up the costume at some Party Warehouse place on Dale Mabry - they were a natural fit. It’s a glamorous witch. Black pants with feathers at the feet. A sparky top; a pointed witches hat with the edges in feathers! It’s magnificent. And Paired with the Blonde it’s like the PERFECT costume! :) I was getting really bummed about nothing being able to find one. Especially after I got the wig and found it looked really fake on the top. the bottom of the wig is great, but the top needs a hat.  Having a witches hat is the perfect solution. I tried on two costumes today. This one and a orange and black witched dress with hat.This outfit is just more fun! :) Plus - if I get that Halloween Twister game I saw at the Party Store; I’ll actually get to play!

Saturday night is my Halloween Party! :) I am very excited!  My husband said he doesn’t want to dress up, which bums me out. But I said that if he’d wear a name tag with “God” on the tag AND be the DD I wouldn’t be mad. He said that was ok. :) I’m gonna be getting my drink on. Since I’m going to wear the 2in heels that my best friend convinced me to buy, that only means I’ve likely to fall down and actually hurt myself. Let’s hope not. At least not until after I get some good pictures. I can’t wait to see what everyone is wearing! :) I LOVE Halloween! It’s my favorite Holiday! And I haven’t been to; or held a costume party in YEARS!  So much to do; so much to buy. I was thinking about doing a signature drink. “The Luka.” ... Maybe Not. I saw some cute paper goods at Targhey* but they were on the pricey side. I saw some great ones at the Party Warehouse store that I liked better.  Have to do that later this week. So much to do; so much to do. 

Man. I can type a lot faster with these no nails.

Sometimes things that sort of hurt are a good thing. My lips are a little chapped. But they got that way from kissing. It’s like it’s not pain. Just a sort of hot reminder of the kissing. But I really would like some lip balm. Then I can get back to the kissing.

He’s lucky to be alive.  Had he breathed IN the flames he would have melted his lungs and been dead within minutes.

I am on my 2nd van/caramel latte. 2 hrs sleep does NOT aid in making this interesting. Rinse, lather, repeat. Is it 4pm yet?
