i sound like a frog

Just in case you were wondering, and I KNOW that you were, it’s not pink eye. Whatever was making my right all all weepy and red has since cleared up.

Also. I would like to brag about Airborne.  This stuff has totally kept me from getting REALLY sick.  Hubby is still fighting this cold a week after he got it.  I went straight from feeling crappy, to dealing with the tail end of the cold. I think it’s all due to the Airborne too.  I haven’t had to take any time off work or anything.  Oh, and if you’re gonna take some, which you should if you are around sick people, then get the Lemon Lime Flavor. It’s better than the orange.  You are still gonna wanna chug it when you do take it though. That’s the best way.  About 1/2 a glass of water, and just chug it down.  I feel ok. I SOUND horrible, but I’ve taken some exportant/suppresant so the coughing should stop soon.  I will take some tylenol for the headache next, and then I’m off.

I’m just wicked happy it’s not pink eye.  We hates pink eye.

HP : GoF at 12:01

Grrr. I’d nearly gotten 1/2 way done with this post when I hit the little x in the corner by accident. I freaking hate when that happens. All right. So. The husbandsurprised me with the suggestion of a night out last night. I got home at 8pm fully expecting to watch Smallville and CSI then head to bed. He had other ideas. We TiFauxed the shows and headed out to do some shopping (we need a monitor cable for the new monitor) and then some eating (Bennigans, twas cold in there) and then some time wasting (before the Goblet of Fire at 12:01) with some Starfucks (peppermint mocha.) The theater wasn’t totally full, and they were showing it on 4, maybe 6, screens. In fact, when hubby went out to get us water before the movie started he ran into two friends of ours. One of which was thesuperduper Meli ! :) We also found her after the flick and stood around talking till everyone else was gone and they were turning out the lights and bringing in the big suction trucks. :)

All right, so, the movie. They have to leave a lot of stuff out of course, and the only thing that we found that was changed from the book was the1st Task. (In the book the Dragon never leaves the ground when Harry is trying to get his egg.) Other than that it was a good testament to the book. Some things felt rushed, buttrying to fit THAT long of Book into a 2 and 1/2 hour movie, what else can you do. I think it did tell the over arching story very well though. I did notice a total lack of MollyWeasley in this film though.  Not to mention I hated how they didn’t even use Gary Oldman’s voice for the Sirius voiceovers, even though they made the face in the fire look like his. I did like Ralph Fiennes as Voldermort though.  Twas a good movie and if you are a fan of the books I would recommend seeing it. One cavet however, it DOES have a PG13 Rating for a reason. If you’ve got kidlets under 13 who wanna see it, you should go see it first we thinks. It’s pretty violent. Several uses of the unforgivable curses. There were some kids, like 6 and 7, in one of the shows last night. It was remarked that they looked traumatized. So, just be ware. :)

I’m a character

today is November 17th. that means it’s exactly 6 months until my birthday. and while no one can see it, I am doing a little happy dance inside. now, if you will excuse me I am going to go back to laying down, trying not to cough. my head is nearly exploding from the pain and i sound like a little wheezy toy. like the penguin from toy story 2. not only has the husband shared the chest cold that has been knocking him on his ass since friday, I do believe I’ve gotten some sort of infection in my right eye. Can you hear the happiness?  Oh, no? You can’t. I’m sorry. Here. Let me turn it up.  A repeat.
