Well, won’t cha just go and look at that. It’s 06.06.06. Ooooh. I’m all skeered. The Devil’s a comin to take me away. Or some shit. Whatever. I’ve never believed in the Devil so I’m not terribly afraid of him today, or any other day for that matter. I haven’t really seen anyone too up in a bother about it though, so that’s good. Sort of like this whole Marriage Amendment The Shrub is trying to get passed. Cause yeah, I’m really threatened that my friends Karina and Jackie wanna get married. That’s truly what’s important today. That we keep people who WANT to get married from getting married just cause they’s is Gay. Oh dear god; not THE GAY. Whatever shall we do? Ooooh. That;s right. Mind our own fucking business. :-) Novel concept, I know. I don’t know a single person who cares about banning homosexual marriage. Not a single one. And I know a lot of freaking people. Every blog I’ve read today has been a lot like what I’m writing here. Some more eloquent, as usual. ;-) But, it remains the same. Like being freaking out about the date today, people get all a twitter about shit that ain’t none of their business. (Oh, and as for my particular vernacular today, I’ve been reading Getting Mother’s Body by Suzan-Lori Parker over the last couple of days. It’s written, for lack of a better word, in a lot of Ebonics. It took some getting used to, but now it’s in my “voice”. I haven’t been talking this way, but I sure as fuck been thinking it this way. The book is pretty good so far actually. I’m over half way done with it.) Ugg. Fucking George Bush. He hasn’t known what was important his whole life, why should I expect him to get it now? I mean, this is the same man that thinks his imaginary friend actually TALKS to him. :-)

I’ve joined the crowd. I went and got myself a MySpace page. Feel free to add me, the more bloggers I’ve got on my friends list, the better. As far as I’m concerned. http://www.myspace.com/incogblogo
It’s that time again. It’s time to introduce my newest renter. Her name is Laci an her blog is called Long, Slow, Beautiful Dance. As you can see below I had lots of choices this week. I chose Laci because I loved her wicked Alice in Wonderland theme she’s got going on. It’s not so much the design of the site that AiW, but all the text for the links and sidebars. I LOVE Alice in Wonderland, so I just had to pick Long, Slow, Beautiful Dance for this weeks rental. Her posts and witty and quick. You’ll like them.
To bribe you to visit Long, Slow, Beautiful Dance I’m going to do a little contest. The rules are simple. There are two.
1. Visit Long, Slow, Beautiful Dance and leave Laci a comment! :-)
2. Copy a sentence from HER blog, and post it here in the comments.
Do those two wickedly easy things and you’ll be entered into a drawing* for 100 BLEX Credits. :-) (Blog Explosion.) Pretty Simple, eh? So, go and vist Laci and her Long, Slow, Beautiful Dance today! :-)
Because I can’t pick more than one. Bummer.

13% (1)I actually DID find books to read yesterday. Four in fact. (I put two on request as well*.) I mostly looked for award winning books, for Horror and Drama. I got one book called lost boy, lost girl by Peter Straub; California Girl by Jefferson Parker; Getting Mother’s Body by Suzan-Lori Parker; and Black Cherry Blues by James Lee Burke. I’ve put a poll up to help me decide which book to read first. Best bet, since I’m looking forward to reading them all, pick by which title you like best. :-) Oh, and if you KNOW why I should read one of these books FIRST, lemme know. Like, maybe you’ve read them or something. :-)

ubiestLuka says to ParaTed2k: me neither, but based on title which one would YOU read first? :-)

ubiestLuka: lord. there did I fix it? this is wreckin up the cool factor!

*Bad Twin by Gary Troup. I got the idea, of course, from LOST. Lots of other people did too seeing as I’m 105th in line for this book. I also requested Naked Pictures of Famous people by Jon Stewart. I’ve read his America book, and I though I’d give this one a try too. Hubby might like this one as well.
It’s been a whole freaking year, and I’m STILL dealing with this credit card crap. The book club sent my account, that I did not sign up for, and that I called to cancel and close, into collections. They say I owe like 20 bucks. I’ve contacted the collections agency, but so far all I get in the mail are more letters saying I owe money. Hopefully it will be resolved soon. It’s the only one I’ve got left. I still don’t know what happened with my credit card though. I’ve had it stolen again this year too. In January, my wallet my stolen and my card WAS used. At least twice if I remember. Bastards stole 300 bucks too.
Tampa Bay got some much needed rain today. Heavy ass rain though. Makes me uber glad that I got my windshield wipers replaced yesterday. This is the first REAL rain we’ve had since at least Valentines Day. I know that case thats when I got my new car, and I haven’t had to drive my new car (a stick shift) in the rain yet. Today I did. Boy did I have to drive it in the rain! Seriously. I couldn’t see more than 1/2 a block in front of my car, and sometimes it was even less. I can’t tell if it’s still raining out there, but it doesn’t sound like it. I’m currently holed up in the local library. For two reasons actually. This is my second round om the free computer and I’ve only got 25 minutes left. After my time runs out I think I will search for a book, or read some magazines. At least I got my books (book and audiobook) turned in and my fine paid. They think Ive still got out another book though, and I know I turned it in. I’ll keep lookin for it, but I swear I dropped it in the book drop after I finished reading it. Hopefully I can find something good to read today. This library is usually crap for books, and I have to order things before I can pick them up. Wish me luck ;-)
I just spent the last 45 min on the phone with our cable comany. (Let’s call them Light Mouse) I’d been trying to get online since about 10:30am, and I couldn’t. I reset the modem, twice, and unplugged everything twice as well. I got the hubby up and he came down and helped me clean up the wires, and then we called Light Mouse again. Turns out that there is some “noise” in our line and they need to send a tech to come look at it. Our appointment is set for Monday between 11 and 2. As SOON as I hung up the phone I looked down at the cable light and saw that it was steady on, so I opened up my FF and tried to login again. It worked. LOL Hubby and I have decided to wait to cancel to appt until we know it won’t go out again. Cause I think it’s an intermittent problem and they need to come check it out anyway. They’re going to try and find an appt time either tomorrow or Saturday though, if they can. So hopefully I won’t have to deal with this crap on Monday as well. It’s just too funny. I was going to write a little text message post, but now I don’t have to. (That reminds me, I need to figure out what’s up with the Audioblog code not posting correctly. I always have to go in and edit it. Doesn’t work so well with actual ON-The-Go posts that way. Boo!)
