This photo has notes. This is at my birthday party in 1992. I was turning 13 years old.  The boy facing the camera is Jamie. At the time he was on my on again, off again boyfriend.  (That picture has notes in flickr, go read them.) The redhead is his cousin Adam.  There was drama at that party. Between Jamie and a boy who liked me - Kris. Not pictured.  That t shirt that I’m wearing - it was my dad’s. His friend wrote on it, saying that that radio station sucked. They were having drama with the station. Today I feel that way about that station.  Same drama, 15 years later.  It’s sick.  I want my Dad to come broadcast on The Empire.  The party was a lot of fun. Jamie and I are still friends.  Most of the people I’m still on contact with from school, both junior high and high school - are boys. Jamie, Steve, Terry.  What does that say about me?

Oh, no I didn’t just wait until nearly 8:30 to make the 8:00 post. Whoops. 

I started getting on the internet in high school.  In the after school program I was in, I was given free time on the computer and could do what I wished. I would hang out in a BBS called Wild Bills Watering Hole.  It was totally all text based, but I had a good time.  When I got to college I got onto a BBS called ISCA.  Again, totally text based, but I was on it all the time none the less.  I learned to type because of ISCA.  Before that I was still hunt, peck and look at the keys.
