I want to blog.  It’s just hard.  I’m not trying for some sort of sympathy outpouring, just stating a fact.  Can’t blog about work stress, couldn’t blog about hobby stress - thanks to the heavens for that change! - so that else is there?  No body wants to hear me talk about TV Shows I’ve watched.  The only thing left was The Saturday Morning Show and I plan to still blog freely about that.  (Or at the very least keep the sidebar updated with info from TSMS.

I’m feeling very good right now. Very powerful and excited about doing what I love, and with people I’ve grown to love! I’m not gonna go all Girl Power on you - or am I? - but I’m having the BEST time right now helping to bring The Empire alive! StMan has given all us over there a great opportunity.  To make a COMMUNITY station - that’s FOR the people, BY the people!  With great shows, great people, great music and great times! :-) Won’t be anything you’ve ever seen.  The Empire wants me.  I want the The Empire so it’s all a WIN WIN situation. :-) I’m also ecited about the changes I have in mind for my show.  I will no longer be publishing the shows with the full musical selection. I will have a PodCast safe block in each show, fitting with that weeks theme (hopefully), but other than than - no music.  (Cept for music in show/station bumpers.) My goal is to make the show interesting enough in the talkin bits that it’s downloadable even without the music! :-) Side Story.  When I announced that I was leaving my last station, I had 2 different offers to move TSMS show to their station. One was BE Radio and the other Big Dawg Radio. Both said super nice things about me and my show making them totally two of the most welcome and most surprising things of the past week and a half! Big UPS to both those stations. Check em out. They’re defaults run 24/7 and you I’m sure that you’ll like what you hear!) I’ve started work on the first two shows, and I’m sure by the end of the this week I’ll already be workin’ on the third show!  I’m a little obsessive like that! :-)

In some fun travel news I’m going to Baton Rouge soon.  (...runs to put the calendars in the sidebar) My grandfather will be turning 85 and there’s a big party for him and a family reunion too!  I’m really looking forward to it! Not only is it some time off *thanks be to the heavens*!, but I also get to see my mom, my dad, and BOTH My brothers! :-) In fact - we’re all shacking up, hubby too, in a 2 room suite at this little place there in town! It’s gonna be like old times. Except were old and now my husband sleeps with me instead of my teddy bear.  (That’s not true either, in fact, I’ve taken to sleepin with the bear lately. Stress does that to me.) Last I saw my family was at Christmas (06) and before that it was Christmas (05.) I’m getting really tired of living so far away from them - but what cha gonna go. Grad school takes time, man! :-)

I’ve been in a shitty mood today.  Sort of woke up that way really. I feel a little like Zoiberg from Futurama when he was all swollen with male jelly and generally being a jerk to everyone.  Not that I’m filled with male jelly, or a man like crab being. But still.  My iTrip broke on Thursday.  Since they don’t even MAKE the iPod mini I got (about 2 years mind you) I went to Ebay to find one. I got it for a steal - less than 13 bucks including shipping. They say they ship next day, but seeing as Thanksgiving is Thursday I’m not sure when it’ll get here. That fact does help the shitty mood.  The fact that I’ve been volunteered to work (pretty much for free) with yet another client on Thursday, does not.  It’s a pattern, and I’m about |-| close to end of my patience rope.  My kitten boy (who’ll be 2 in Jan) took a chunk out of my finger today.  He REALLY wanted my fucking oatmeal I guess.  It hurt.  It’s ugly, but at least I’m not having an allergic reaction to the band aid.

Here’s the deal. I can’t decide which of these two images to use for my next skin.  I found both of these on Istock, and liked em both right away. When I asked hubby which one I should use - he said that he liked em both, and that I should just DO both.  Turns out that’s too expensive, so now I’ve gotta make a choice. But I can’t. I nearly missed it. It’s Monday and I wanted to start my The Great Bloggin’ Plan today. I never did really decide on what Monday’s should be though. I first thought “Media Monday” but then I thought, what the fuck does that mean? I mean..do I write about TV shows I’ve watched?  (For the record , just today, Nip/Tuck, Dexter, Arrested Development, Buffy, General Hospital, Law & Order, Without a Trace and Weeds.) Do I mention a movie we saw weekend before last?  (Man of the Year with Robin Williams. It was ok. I’d say wait till it comes out on Video or York on demand Cable channel.) Eh. So I don’t really think Media Monday is gonna be my thing.  So I’m stuck without an M for Mondays.  Maybe I could just do Monday Musings.  It would be sort of a cop out, i mean - what the hell is a musing anyway?  Same with Mystery Monday.  lol. I could do MEME Monday - but those are lame, and not a good way to start the week.  So, fuck me.  What should I do on Mondays?  I’m clearly not clever enough to come up with something good.

At least I’ve got Tuesday and Wednesday figured out.  (Trivia and WayBack.) I think Thursday’s will be “Theme Thursdays.” (About whatever Theme I’ve got coming up on The Saturday Morning Show for the following Saturday. then Friday’s it’ll be “Freaky Fridays”.
