I figured I really needed to write a proper blog post. A proper thank you - listing all my sponsors, my winners, and all that jazz. The photos that accompany this entry were taken after the Blogathon needed.  I was a little giddy and drunk-from-lack-of-sleep. I even made two videos. I may post them at some future date. (If I can get them into AVI - they’re in MOV now.) I felt this was the perfect place to post these pictures. Click the thumbnail for the full size pop up.

I totally made my goal!  I put in a pledge of 70 something to cover verbal commitments I got from my Aunt, my boss and a woman I work with. But I totally made my goal! My heartfelt thanks go out to all of you!

That’s when I decided to up to $250. I was a little freaked right after I upped it, but in the end I did it! :) Whoa! :) It’s more than I made in the last 2 years combined! :)

Some of the things that I think helped - at least a little - was the Origami I offered as premiums! I do actually still have some left, - so if you want one - and it won’t cost me TOO much to mail it to you, comment on this post and I will send it! :) The pics show you which ones are gone - and I will try to keep them as updated as possible! :) My mom took some Origami, as did my Mother in Law.  Of the 26 pieces I started with, I have 14 pieces left! Not bad, eh?! :) I will get those out to my sponsors ASAP.

I was SO busy during this Thon!  I was posing every thirty minutes; sometimes doing traditional posts, and other times doing audio posts.  I kept myself hopping uploading audio (songs which are now down) and also doing trivia contests! If they’ve got a * they were a multiple time winner, and donated their dollars to other thoners! :) The trivia thing was SO much fun! :) Having people rush to answer, and guess, was totally great! :) That’s SOOO something I would love to try and incorporate into my blog on a more regular basis! :) I didn’t get a whole lot of time to search around the ring or anything.  I did win one contest - it was over at Dizzy Girl‘s. It was, ironically a trivia question.  “According to Old Wive’s Tales, what does it mean if your nose itches?” I said that it meant that someone’s thinking about you - which is totally true! :) I also colored in a quilt piece for this wicked quilt . I did the one on the far right, second row from the top. I’m just to the right of Orange Haired Boy (not blog or blogger - doG I’m daft.)

All in all I had a really great time this year! :) I wish I’d done something more for my monitees. I checked in on them, but part of me feels like I should have been more of a cheerleader for them!  Suki was actually my monitor! :) She was part of ”They Might Be Monitors” but she TOTALLY was! Cracking the whip and everything!  Loved it!  I tried to post a couple of times on each of their blogs, but I didn’t have time for it too much. I do vow that if I am a monitor next year - I will totally play up my cheerleader role. To the hilt! :) I was part of ”The Yellow Darts” team. We didn’t get a group together, but I think that if I am in one next year I will try to get it more organized - even if I am not a team leader.  Staying up for 24 hours making blog posts, talking to people in the chat rooms, and surfing the internets - you just can’t beat that! :) I couldn’t have done it without the AIM chat room, and yall folks know who you are!  Who lives in a Pineapple Under The SEA?!?

It’s seem I’ve abandoned the contests. That’s ok. It’s the silly time now. Oh yes. The silly time.

Little Leif spend the weekend with his father last week. Bastard.  Anyway, his new wife *cough*whore* took this photo. Apparently ChesterChesterTheChild Molester is teaching little Leif to shoot guns too. I just CANNOT believe it. My dear sweet little Leif boy - just just turned 11 in March - the 15th - yes, yes, beware the ides and all that! He shouldn’t be out playing with gun. He should be inside. With Mommy. 

Thank doG for small favors. This little boogie boy is fast asleep.  He’s a crier, as you may have hear back at like __ yesterday.  He’s been blissfully sleeping for about 2 hours now. It’s loverly. My sweet sweet boogie boy. He’s so snuggly! We loves him.  His name is Kaos. but I tend to call him Boogie. Can you tell?

I didn’t do a donation last time - so I am doing one this time. First person to identify all five songs gets $2 to the charity of their choice. (A hint. All the song titles are in the intro.)
