So, a while back, I created a bumper for my Blog. I created it for a podcast. It hasn’t aired on that podcast - and I just can’t keep it under wraps any longer! Don’t you just love it?! It’s not arrogant at ALL is it?! :-)
Oh. P.S I’ve finally gotten last weeks show all uploaded. It’s four hours long, but it’s in four 1 hour parts, so you’re good to go! :-) See the playlists, listen to, and download the shows on the TSMS blog. http://www.thesaturdaymorningshow.net/
I’ve posted the latest installment of The Saturday Morning Show, and because I want to I’m gonna post it here too.

Hey Gang!
I am only sort of live this week! :-) I WILL be in the chatroom and on the cam, but 90 minutes of my show is prerecorded. It’s a rare and special treat as my good friend, and old terrestrial radio partner, Jeff is my co host. Actually, this week, it’s HIS show and I’m just the co host! We recorded the show on the 4th of July, at his place in Orlando. The artists include EMINEM, Kottonmouth Kings, Techn9ne, Reel Big Fish, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Cake, Godsmack, Slipknot and the Beastie Boys. Jeff programed the music, and I was just the loverly co host. The show starts like normal, and then after the 1st song I’ll start the “The Jeff Domination Hour” - even though it’s really 90 minutes. :-) After that show, I come back and do some tracks too. I’ve got 7 tracks that I’ve picked out, and then his show. Funny how that works out! :-)
I do hope that you’ll tune in and hang out! :-)

I want to blog. It’s just hard. I’m not trying for some sort of sympathy outpouring, just stating a fact. Can’t blog about work stress, couldn’t blog about hobby stress - thanks to the heavens for that change! - so that else is there? No body wants to hear me talk about TV Shows I’ve watched. The only thing left was The Saturday Morning Show and I plan to still blog freely about that. (Or at the very least keep the sidebar updated with info from TSMS.
I’m feeling very good right now. Very powerful and excited about doing what I love, and with people I’ve grown to love! I’m not gonna go all Girl Power on you - or am I? - but I’m having the BEST time right now helping to bring The Empire alive! StMan has given all us over there a great opportunity. To make a COMMUNITY station - that’s FOR the people, BY the people! With great shows, great people, great music and great times! :-) Won’t be anything you’ve ever seen. The Empire wants me. I want the The Empire so it’s all a WIN WIN situation. :-) I’m also ecited about the changes I have in mind for my show. I will no longer be publishing the shows with the full musical selection. I will have a PodCast safe block in each show, fitting with that weeks theme (hopefully), but other than than - no music. (Cept for music in show/station bumpers.) My goal is to make the show interesting enough in the talkin bits that it’s downloadable even without the music! :-) Side Story. When I announced that I was leaving my last station, I had 2 different offers to move TSMS show to their station. One was BE Radio and the other Big Dawg Radio. Both said super nice things about me and my show making them totally two of the most welcome and most surprising things of the past week and a half! Big UPS to both those stations. Check em out. They’re defaults run 24/7 and you I’m sure that you’ll like what you hear!) I’ve started work on the first two shows, and I’m sure by the end of the this week I’ll already be workin’ on the third show! I’m a little obsessive like that! :-)
In some fun travel news I’m going to Baton Rouge soon. (...runs to put the calendars in the sidebar) My grandfather will be turning 85 and there’s a big party for him and a family reunion too! I’m really looking forward to it! Not only is it some time off *thanks be to the heavens*!, but I also get to see my mom, my dad, and BOTH My brothers! :-) In fact - we’re all shacking up, hubby too, in a 2 room suite at this little place there in town! It’s gonna be like old times. Except were old and now my husband sleeps with me instead of my teddy bear. (That’s not true either, in fact, I’ve taken to sleepin with the bear lately. Stress does that to me.) Last I saw my family was at Christmas (06) and before that it was Christmas (05.) I’m getting really tired of living so far away from them - but what cha gonna go. Grad school takes time, man! :-)
Listen to the Empire. Ego te provoco. (I dare you.)
The Saturday Morning Show is now a part of MPYR Radio, otherwise known as “The Empire” or just empire! It’s a station that I am very excited to be a a part of! :-) Empire Radio - it’s all about the music!;-) I’ve been doing bumpers for the station, so WHEN you tun in to listen to the stream you could hear them! :-) And you KNOW you want to Tune in! Empire is broadcasting a stream 24-7 now, with a variety Of hits! Oldies, 80’s, metal, classic rock, country, disco, dance, talk shows, and even quiz shows. Live Show’s are slated to start running April 1st, but until the you can rock out with your socks out to the wicked default that runs, RIGHT Now!
I’ve quit ThatStationIWon’tName. I wasn’t happy the treatment I was receiving and I wanted a different “working” environment. I wanted more input and less “You’re All Wrong Luka”
So, I am not longer broadcasting on that station. (I didn’t know my last show would be my last show, and the theme for this week will just be put on hold for a while.)
Until further notice* The Saturday Morning Show will be off the air. I got the show it’s own domain name, though, so all info about the show will be up there! :-)
Thanks for your continued support! And of course patience in this “difficult” time.
*and there WILL be notice! :-) Be sure that my next venture will be just as heavily pimped as my last! :-) If not MORE so, cause it’s rules! :-)
p.s. yes. I know I need to change the default skin. :-)
Wow, it’s almost Saturday again! I’m ready, are you gonna be ready? :-) This week on The Saturday Morning Show I’m doing what really can only be described as a “cheater” theme. I am playing music that was pretty much randomly selected from my iPod. There’s music on there I haven’t been able to access in months and months. I made a little teaser for it, you can listen to that here - where I’ve placed it so I don’t eat up valuable ThatStation Podomatic space. I played 8 songs in that little teaser, all of which will be in the play list - along with 26 other songs including 3 Discovery Downloads from iTunes. Some artists being played : Test Your Reflex, Bright Eyes, The Peasall Sisters, Patricia Vonne, The Cure, Carly Simon, Total Coelo, Magneta Lane, and The Sundays. On TOP of the fabulous music you’ll get to hear, theres even got a new commercial debuting during the show, so be sure to tune in! ;-)
Howdy Everybody! :-)
In case you missed last weeks show, I am finally getting the show up on the podcast. I am exporting the mp3 now, and should be uploading it within the hour. It was a great show and you can see the show notes, and playlist, - http://tinyurl.com/2dtrdk - there :-)
This week’s theme is “Cover Songs!” I’m bringing back a crowd favorite! :-) Getting a sneak peak of my playlist reveals the following artists : Shonen Knife, Rascal Flatts, Sting, Ludacris, Fountains of Wayne, Billy Idol, Bumblefoot, Indigo Girls, Tori Amos, Wynonna Judd, some Richard Cheese and The Violent Femmes plus SO Many more!: -) 1.5 hrs of music and just .5 hrs of chatting equals out to be a one heckuva way to spend a Saturday morning! ;-) Like Bon Jovi always says “you can sleep when you’re dead!”
See you at 9am, or anytime before 11am est, at http://www.TheStationIWon’tNameOrLink.com/chat/ You can listen to the show from the main page of http://www.TheStationIWon’tNameOrLink.com/ come into the chat if you have questions! :-) You don’t need a password, just type in a screen name and come on in! :-)
Love, “Luka”!
p.s. I’ve updated the “what’s up next box!?” on the TSMS blog. I’ve actually got a couple weeks already planned out. Aren’t I the little industrious beaver!? :-)
So! Yay! I will be doing live again this Saturday! :-) I’ve gotten my playlist locked down and all set up! :-) The theme is “Music by threes.” I’ve picked tracks grouped by artist, some new tracks some music from my cd collection I’ve got some Neko Case, some Violent Femmes, some Cake, some Annie Lennox. I’ve got 5 male artists/bands and 5 female artists/bands. There are 29 songs! :-) I really hope that you’ll like the selection, it should at least be entertaining to listen to! :-) I won’t be able to record this one to podcast, so you best turn in live to experience the magic. For lack of a better exaggeration! :-)
Tune in live at 9am EST Saturday! :-) ThatStationRadio.com and maybe Chat during the show
Thanks for paying Attention,
Luka
