i think that i just has a religious cult member try to recruit me at my door. mark and markos wanted me to come to a bible study class. but not just a regular bible study class. oh no. it's class that studies the true origins of the bible - not religiously. the elder mark asked me if i grew up in a church - and I said no. I hadn't. He said "so you aren't religious are you." So I had to explain that not having grown up in a church didn't imply i had no religion. Also that even if i had grown up in a specific religion - it made me no less a good person. Because - really it doesn't matter in what words you use to pray, but that you pray in the first place. He nodded in agreement then went into a speech about how it really mattered most that you were of his undisclosed religion. he gave me a flyer and i said i was hesitant to come and he offered to come back/call. I declined. his speech was full of double talk - saying that all religion was ok.but his was the best without really saying that. i need to make a sign for my door.
