80’s movies always have some cheesy scene where the leads find each other in a crowd. Like at the end of Teen Wolf where Scott wins the game as himself and he brushes past the blonde bimbo to head to his real love.
80’s movies always have the 4 characters. The lead - very sweet & lovable. The hot one. The asshole/bitch. And the sweet lovable long time but didn’t know it love. Lead is either male like Scott in Teen Wolf or female - Andie Pretty in Pink. The asshole is always male like Bif in Back to the Future. and the bitch is always female - Heather & Heather in Heathers. And the sweet lovable long time love is either (Jake) male 16 candles- or (Rina) female like in Lucas.
Course then there is the 80’s group movie. Like Chariots of Fire or The Breakfast Club where there were all those characters but they were all good guys too. DancerBoyder could have been the asshole but we loved him. Course Andrew the jock could have easily been the asshole (most times jocks are assholes.) Claire girl could have been the bitch, but again she could have played the lead or the long time didn’t know it love.

Oh my god I almost forgot the Nerd like in Ferris Bueller. Theres the best friend who’s just like the lead Garry and Wyatt in Weird Science. Theres also the asshole principle/authority figure - Police Academy or private DancerBoyjamin.
Lots of sports things. Karate - Karate Kid. Basketball Teen Wolf. Skiing in Better Off Dead. Dancing like Fame & Footloose.
