I didn’t forget I just got too busy. I worked in the morning, and found out that I’ve gotten a promotion at work! :-) I won’t talk about it too much, but it’s going to be either 1) more hours, 2) more money, or 3) both! :-) Don’t have final details, but I’m wicked excited! :-) Should be something more challenging and varied than what I do now! ! :-) Woot woot! I also did a little stimulus shopping. I purchased some props for videos. I got some wicked NERD glasses and a mustache and goatee. My cat just came and flopped over on me, it was very sweet. Now he’s grooming himself, and purring. Such a sweet cat boy. I need to hit the hay soon. I have to work a half day tomorrow.  Which, I actually like. I was off Monday cause of my back, and this I’m short on hours.  I get more monies her hour on Saturday, and it’s 4 hours max. That actually helps me get going.  I am home by 1 or 2, even I do run errands (which I do need to do some of tomorrow.) We totally got our economic stimulus money today. We got less than 900 bucks. We are going to pay the other half of our car payment, our electricity and our cable bills.  Whatever is left we can use to go grocery shopping. Some stimulus, huh?  I did do some shopping today - including getting some new lotions that I think will help my face. I even used coupons to save some money. I rock.  I still haven’t gotten the money from that one day I did on that nanny job. I think I may have to call her. It’s two weeks tomorrow. Grr. Two weeks today I’ll be flying home. Our flight is at like 7am, so that’ll make for an early day! :-) But I’m wicked excited! No long drive, just one quick non stop flight to KC.  Hate all the bullshit you have to through to get on a plane now a days, but it’s better than a 24 hour drive. First it was an 11 hour day, second it was a lot different than I thought it was going to be. Actually I don’t even know if I can say that.  I don’t want to talk about specifics too much on the internets, but suffice to say it’s a waste of my abilities if what they want me to do is “babysit”. The money is good, and being able to have heath insurance is also good, but consistently working 11+ hours a day, basically “getting through the day” with a client with behavioral issues that include hitting and verbal abuse, with what seems like a “ignore them and they’ll go away” approach, isn’t something I want to do. I can do so much more than “babysit.” If I can take this job, make it my own, and really DO some things to help her, I think it could work out. If not - I just don’t know. Heh, I didn’t even know to clock in when I got there, and I haven’t filled out any financial info.  Ugg.  Just ugg. P.s. I’m still doing my photo project. I’m doing self portraits on Saturdays. everydays 2008-04-20T19:33:00-05:00 http://www.incogblogo.net/index.php/awesome/photography/ http://www.incogblogo.net/index.php/awesome/photography/#When:15:29:00Z {summary}I’ve been thinking about starting up my 365 photos project.  I started it last year on April 17th, and only got about 105 days.  I was doing OK with posting something nearly every day, then I broke my camera.  I’ve taken a new job and I may not be able to vlog as much because of it, so I was thinking that since I take my camera with me every where I go, I might start doing that again.  It’s actually kinda hard for me to go back and look at the pictures I took at the beginning of the last project - because of what was going on at the time in my life. I’d been thrust into an (unfounded, and motivated by jealously/greed) abuse investigation, and I was NOT ok. Part of me, however wrong this is, feels like if I start it up again, something bad will happen.  Course that’s stupid, but I never said I was the smartest cookie in the box. That being said...or typed out/whatever...that’s just silly. Out there in black and white - wow.  I like taking pictures and haven’t really since I started doing the YT thing.  I need to get back to things that I love. Taking pictures has always been something i LOVED to do, and I actually miss it.  I can’t beleive I’ve not uploaded a Photo to my flickr stream in like 7 months. That’s a freaking travesty. Not to mention a waste of money since I’ve paid for the pro subscription. Ok, when I say I paid for, I mean my Mama paid for. She’s awesome! :-) Yea - I’ve decided. I am going to start it again. Like - ok - take for example the video I did about giving blood. It’s called Saving Lives is Easy.  I feel like I shouldn’t “try to make money” on that video since it’s of a very “charity” nature.  Same with my vlogs - like - why should i try to make money off of something that it’s giving anybody anything. At least with my cooking videos, I am putting something of value out there. I guess that’s part of my problem - I don’t see the “value” in blogging.  I mean it’s FUN, but that’s not value.
