I was told by someone the other day that they were bored. Bored of playing games, bored bored bored… bored. So I was trying to suggest some ideas on what they could do.
Reading is a great past-time when I am in the mood. I don’t read that much, but when I’m in the mood it floods. I get addicted, until the buzz wears off.
I also suggested playing the same game a different way, but you know that never helps. Sometimes you play a game so much, it becomes a chore to load the game to play. One of my pet peeves is games that end up that way. More and more are coming up to be cheap thrills; cheap thrills in a development sense anyway. They don’t got what’s needed to hook you in, and hold you so that you look forward to every moment in the game. You lose sleep with games like that, and your performance at work suffers from it as well.
So what do I do when I am bored? I have a very large CD collection. Some of those CD’s are starting to become difficult to read. So I am slowly converting over to a digital format, and I have the equipment dedicated to this task. I also like to listen to new artists, and weird stuff. Which is how the Dickness became known to Luka-Luka.
Anyway, I am completely off topic. I think that the only present that I’ve ever really given anyone that has meant anything has been my friendship. Many people have tried to return that with the receipt and price tag still on, but there’s a few people who like to keep it in the closet every once in a while. A bit too embarrasing sometimes to wear while out and about.
That's It.
